Mice and rats can cause significant damage and contamination in both residential and commercial facilities. If you hear scratching in walls, find droppings in cabinets, or notice gnaw marks on wiring, you likely have a rodent problem. Signs of Mice or Rats

• Droppings in cabinets, along baseboards, or behind appliances. Mouse droppings are about the size of a grain of rice; rat droppings are noticeably larger.
• Gnaw marks on food packaging, wood, plastic, and wiring.
• Scratching or scurrying in walls, ceilings, or attics, usually at night.
• Nesting material such as shredded paper, insulation, or fabric in hidden corners.
• Grease marks along walls and pipes where rodents travel the same route repeatedly.

Exclusion First, Then Control

Trapping on its own treats the rodents already inside and does nothing about the route they used, so the problem resets every season. Our rodent management follows four steps:

1. Inspection of the exterior and interior to find entry points, runways, and nesting areas.
2. Exclusion: sealing gaps around foundations, utility penetrations, doors, and vents, since a mouse can fit through an opening about the width of a dime.
3. Control of the rodents already inside with trapping and baiting placed for the property.
4. Monitoring to confirm activity has stopped and to catch any new entry early.
